Founded as Gardens by Daniel in 2007, our family began with a simple mission: create beautiful, sustainable gardens for Sarasota homeowners. In those early years, our focus was entirely on softscape—selecting the perfect plants, nurturing soil, and designing garden beds that thrived in our local climate. We built our reputation on reliability, deep horticultural knowledge, and a handshake you could trust.
 

Over the years, our clients' needs evolved. They loved their gardens but wanted more ways to enjoy them. We began receiving requests for paver pathways to navigate the lush greenery, patios for entertaining, and fencing for privacy. Listening to our customers, we expanded our team's expertise. We mastered the art of hardscape installation, learning the intricacies of paver base preparation, retaining walls, and precision leveling. We added professional lighting services to help clients enjoy their landscapes after sunset. We began designing and installing custom pergolas to provide shade and structure.
 

This natural evolution led to our rebrand as Driftwood Design Build Landscape. The new name reflects our growth from garden specialists to comprehensive landscape design and installation experts. It represents our ability to handle the hardscape structures alongside the living

landscape.
